Marc’s main intention for 2007 was to compete the Isle of Man TT Races. In addition to this he hoped to compete the International road race meetings at Scarborough and the North West 200.
An entry into the TT is not easily obtained so to be invited to compete was a great honour and also a recognition of both Marc’s dedication and enthusiasm for the sport and his natural ability which had attracted the attention of many influential people in the world of road racing.
In 2007 Marc was riding two different bikes in different classes of competition at each of the road race meetings he attended. One was a 2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000 K6 shod with Pirelli tyres and capable of speeds in excess of 185mph and a 2005 Honda CBR600RR also shod with Pirelli tyres. In Marc’s capable hands this machine was more competitive than many of the 1000cc bikes ridden by his fellow competitors.
